    Mindfulness Works!
    with Kerry & Howard Parsons

    Mindfulness Works! is a scientifically verifiable meditation system that works simply by
    retraining our inner operating system to stop, unhook autopilot and come back to the
    present moment. Utilizing the simplest of tools - Eight weeks - 90 minutes/week of focussed
    learning and quiet time including learning about posture and presence, awareness
    and focus, sitting and silence establishes and strengthens:
    * recognition and suspension of unproductive and reactive thought patterns
    * familiarity with, and the ability to release, habitual responses to pressure
    * the ability to relax the struggle within anxiety and transform fear into courage
    * increased tolerance for change, uncertainty, and confusion
    * body-mind alignment and well-being
    * self-compassion and empathy towards others

     We are very happy to host Ty at the Yoga Studio South!

    Join Ty for a fabulous weekend workshop of asana and pranayama. Another chance to work with Ty Chandler, one of Victoria's most sought-after Iyengar Yoga teachers. Known for her strong, precise teaching and her warm, encouraging style, she blends physically demanding asana work with clear verbal instruction, yet allows her students to stay connected to their own experience. Ty teaches internationally, in Costa Rica, Hong Kong and Singapore and in her home city of Victoria. Suggested experience: One year of Iyengar Yoga and the ability to hold headstand and shoulderstand for three minutes. "She gives such amazing instruction. She has my complete respect as a fantastic teacher of yoga" - Lynne W, a Victoria student of Ty. This is a Full weekend workshop.



     Requires at least one year of Iyengar Yoga experience.
