    Intro to Yoga- Workshop
    with Lynne Swenson

    This workshop has been created to introduce a new student to the foundations of Iyengar Yoga. Topics include the importance of alignment and the use of props. Also, this class will address why Yoga is ideally suited to people of all ages and abilities. After taking this workshop you will be confident to begin your Yoga journey.

    Gentle Yoga with Sherry Norman 


    Gentle Yoga is for anyone who enjoys a nurturing, slow-paced, well-supported and relaxing practice. Props are used such as chairs and walls to allow students to practice within their own range of motion safely. The class is held at a comfortable pace and is designed to create breath awareness, enhance balance and increase flexibility. The class ends with a guided relaxation to soothe the central nervous system and release deep muscular tension.

     Mom & Baby Postnatal Yoga

    Mom and baby yoga is a beautiful way to nourish your mind, body, and spirit together.
    Come and feel nurtured and uplifted in a warm community where we will strengthen core, open our posture and hearts while building confidence with incredible tools from yoga that you and your baby will love!

    Back by popular demand, Julie has agreed to offer a more asana-based workshop this time. 
    Learn to create strong, spacious and anatomically correct poses.
    Julie's previous Calgary workshops have focused on formal anatomy instruction. This workshop will emphasize core issues for the focus group of postures, followed by deep asana practice to enhance understanding and embodiment of the teachings. Julie was anatomy columnist for the Yoga Journal for eight years and now writes for Yoga International. Her articles remain a great resource online at the Yoga Journal website.

    Oregano Oil: Mother Nature's antibiotic
