    Join Physiotherapist, Kate Gerry, for a fun class that opens with a energetic practice and closes with some restorative poses.

     Yoga for Plus sizes with Dr. Jo Ann Tefler
     Ideal for those beginning their yoga journey and living in a plus size body. A slow moving class, to allow time for deeper understanding of the practice, proper alignment and breath awareness

    Yoga for Stress Relief
    with Sherry Norman
    (Certified Relax & Renew trainer)
    Learn to calm mind, body and spirit in this noon-hour restorative yoga class. Restorative yoga uses poses and techniques to produce exceptionally deep relaxation. No yoga experience is required.

    Yoga for Men
    with Usher Fleising
    Men often suffer from tightness particularly in the hips, hamstrings, and shoulders that can lead to injury or weakness.  The poses taught in this class will release the tightest spots and strengthen muscles.In fact, guys that take one yoga class per week or more can increase endurance, build strength, prevent injuries, and may even stave off heart disease.

    According to the ancient system of Ayurveda, a sister science to yoga, in Autumn air(Vata) is the predominant element, causing leaves to dry and wind to pick up. Nature is crisp and brittle, dying leaves fall to create space for renewal in the spring. 
    We at YSS feel its an appropriate time to convey and affirm our appreciation and commitment with all those participating in the shared privilege of Yoga together. 
    We believe in the importance of a solid foundation of a versatile team that meets the requirements of all aspiring Yogis, to achieve this we are undertaking to make available as broad a spectrum of talented resource of classes and teachers as possible.  
    We are looking forward to an exciting Fall schedule with many new classes and teachers.

    Intro to Yoga- Workshop
    with Lynne Swenson
    This workshop has been created to introduce a new student to the foundations of Iyengar Yoga. Topics include the importance of alignment and the use of props. Also, this class will address why Yoga is ideally suited to people of all ages and abilities. After taking this workshop you will be confident to begin your Yoga journey.
