    This 3-hour workshop is ideal for anyone with an asana practice that wants to learn about or deepen their experience of Pranayama.  
    Samantha will be sharing her passion for Pranayama practice as taught in the Iyengar Yoga tradition.
    Breath is the vehicle for prana, the life force, and is that which links the body and mind together. Correct breathing forms the foundation for Yoga Meditation and through it one can gain complete control over the central nervous system.

    Restorative Yoga
    with Sherry Norman

    Are you in need of some rest and relaxation this Christmas? Give yourself (or someone you love) the soothing gift of restorative yoga!

    Restorative yoga is practiced with props to provide a supportive environment for total relaxation.  Poses are held for a longer period of time allowing for expansion and ease, while calming the central nervous system and releasing deep muscular tension.   This quiet and gentle form of yoga replenishes the body's energy, leaving you feeling nourished and well rested.

    If you have never tried restorative yoga, give it a try!  Restorative yoga is encouraged for all ages, abilities and physical conditions.

    Emotional eating seminar with Amber Romaniuk

     Join Amber Romaniuk, owner of Nourish This Life, Holistic Nutritionist, & Author of "Amber Approved" for an afternoon of understanding why we use food to cope with emotions and stress. Amber will discuss: -An introduction to triggers of emotional eating -How emotional eating can impact the body on a physical and emotional level -How to shift the way we cope with our emotions without using food and recognize physical hunger from emotional hunger & much more! -Sampling some Amber Approved Recipes to support hunger and keep you satisfied!

    95th Birthday of Guruji BKS Iyengar on Friday Dec 13
    at 6pm. 
    Join us for a vegetarian potluck and birthday celebrations of one of the greatest living masters of Yoga. Guruji BKS Iyengar's lifelong dedication & contributions to the art and science of Yoga, will be showcased through a movie "Leap of Faith".

    We wish you all the very best for the holiday season, our Holiday schedule starts on Dec 16 2013.

    Deepen your Yoga practice with Ty Chandler

    Back by popular demand after her sell-out workshops in the past few years. Join Ty for a fabulous weekend workshop of asana and pranayama. Another chance to work with Ty Chandler, one of Victoria's most sought-after Iyengar Yoga teachers. Known for her strong, precise teaching and her warm, encouraging style, she blends physically demanding asana work with clear verbal instruction, yet allows her students to stay connected to their own experience. Ty teaches internationally, in Costa Rica, Hong Kong and Singapore and in her home city of Victoria. 


    Suggested experience: One year of Iyengar Yoga and the ability to hold headstand and shoulderstand for three minutes. "She gives such amazing instruction. She has my complete respect as a fantastic teacher of yoga" - Lynne W, a Victoria student of Ty.
